Two Headed Space Worms!
- The scientists in the space worm experiment wanted to figure out what might happen to the cells of humans who live in space. Based on the results of the experiment and your own ideas, how do you think human bodies might change if they lived in space for many years or even their whole lives?
- Flatworms are good for experiments because they can survive being cut up. Besides outer space, what other extreme environments could scientists take flatworms to see how they react?
- Mindy explained to Guy that some kinds of flatworms have eyes all over their body, some have one eye, some have no eyes, and some like the one Guy looked at have big googly eyes. Draw some pictures of what you think these different worms might look like and give them names!
